Hello Everyone. Aaron here. We have moved a few things
around. I hope this makes shopping on my site easier for you. If you are
looking for feeder insects, click on Roaches for Sale
button on the left and then click it again. The same applies to
the dry goods we carry as well. We have 2 different sections you can order
from. The roaches section (must be shipped priority or express mail, this
section includes all live feeders), and the dry goods section (these items
that can be shipped parcel post or priority mail). As always, if you have any
questions or concerns we can be reached via email at customerservice@aaronpauling.com or by phone at 928-415-0347. Please try not to
call after 10 PM or before 8 AM based on the clock on our site. The clock is
located on the Shipping Policies page.
About Our Feeders We have a variety of roaches
available. These roaches are fed to our own animals, tree frogs, several
varieties of monitor lizard, a tarantula, a leopard gecko, and 4 baby bearded
dragons. All of our animals simply thrive on the roach.
Roaches are
rapidly replacing the cricket due to: no noise, dramatically decreased or
no smell at all, ease of raising, length of life, and general overall a higher
quality feeder. Feeder roaches, depending on the species, can live 1-2 years and
some more, as adults. They have larger stomaches and can hold more gut load.
They are bigger then crickets. This means you get more meat per insect and less
indigestible chitin ( insect exoskeleton). With roaches, it is much easier to
keep a variety of feeders on hand that you grow yourself. This way, you know what
they have been fed and how they have been raised.
A little about
me.... My name is Aaron Pauling. I have been interested in reptiles since I was 5. My kindergarten teacher (Mrs. Pearson, if you see this THANKYOU) had a garter snake in the classroom. That first summer off from school I begged my parents to get me a garter snake. Needless to say after hours of pleading I got my way. My life was changed forever. Fence lizards, geckos, toads and any other critter I could get my hands on. I would keep them for a short while if they didn't eat and if they did eat? Well, my dad and I became excellent cage builders.
Now it is 25 years later. I have 0.3
Columbian red tail boas (given to me from people who just
didn't want them anymore) 1.1 normal, aggressive, wild caught ball pythons(the guy was going
to kill them or find a home for them, I couldn't say
no), 1.0 Californian king snake ( the kid who owned it went to college and
left it with his mom) 1.2 woma pythons ( these, I worked my butt off at a second
job for, but it was worth every drop of sweat) 2.0 greybanded king snakes, 1.2 rosy boas,
1.0 knoblocki mountain kingsnake , 0.1 leopard gecko, 1 ? savanna monitor, 3.2
Australian whites tree frogs, 3 ? triple cross monitors, and 2 yellow
ackie monitors. That is a lot of reptiles and amphibians! I JUST GOT 3 ANGLE ISLAND CHUCKAWALLAS. WOW!!! THEY ARE COOL.
I love my pets. They are my children. That is why the insect eaters in the group
are now eating roaches. I am also raising other
roach species and you will see them available soon, as I get
moved in to my new internet home. Keep checking back for
specials and products. If you see a product for sale on this
site, it is something that I use personally for my pets,
or have tried and approve of. Please let us know if there are
any products out there you would like us to carry.
