Non-climbing roaches are less worrisome to keep at home as they cannot climb smooth surfaces like glass and some plastic. They can be contained easily in regular tanks or tubs with lids to avoid flying males escaping. Note that some plastic tubs can have a rough interior, allowing the roaches to get footholds and climb. Objects within the roach bins that touch the lids may allow smaller ones (nymphs) to escape.
